Short Talk: Anna Henckel-Donnersmarck

Anna Henckel-Donnersmarck is the curator and head of Berlinale Shorts, the competition for short films at the Berlinale. She works with the moving image in various ways. For 20 years, she has been active as a programmer, moderator, jury member and panel participant. From 2007 to 2019, she served as a member of the selection committee for Berlinale Shorts. Her primary focus is on the short film format.

Short Talk is a podcast by Talking Shorts. In each episode a professional from the short film circuit will discuss about their work, career and event during a friendly talk with the host.

Berlinale Shorts Curator Anna Henckel-Donnersmarck is the guest of the first episode. The interview was recorded on February 23rd 2020 during the 70th Berlinale — Berlin International Film Festival.
