Daniel Ebner (*1981 in Feldkirch, Vorarlberg) is the co-founder and Artistic Director of Vienna Shorts – International Short Film Festival. He has a Master's degree in Political Science and studied Cultural Studies and Film Studies in Vienna and Berlin. Daniel has been cultural editor and film critic at APA Austrian Press Agency for many years. He is the co-producer of the football short-film reel “Eleven Minutes” (A/CH 2008), a film advisor for the city of Vienna and the state of Vorarlberg, co-founder of the Association of Austrian Film Festivals as well as of the initiative Fair Festival Work Now, and also works as a film and film art curator. In 2020 he co-launched the online short film magazine Talking Shorts and supported Enrico Vannucci's online project My Darling Quarantine during the corona crisis.

Short Talk is a podcast by Talking Shorts. In each episode a professional from the short film circuit will discuss about their work, career and event during a friendly talk with the host.
