Guil Sela

Guil Sela is an artist born in 1996 and a resident of France since childhood. He now dedicates himself wholeheartedly to his pursuits as a writer-director and photographer. His debut film, La Flamme Olympique, earned selections at the WIP of the Cannes Film Festival, Cinema Jove, Edinburgh, and more. In 2023, he began filming Santa Maria Kyoko and Montsouris Park, a drama and a comedy, or perhaps the other way around. Simultaneously, he is engaged in crafting a new short film and his inaugural feature-length work—both projects aim to continue his exploration, infused with humour and melancholy, into the irony that underlies our tragic daily lives.
