Talking Shorts is committed to publishing work by emerging and confirmed writers, and we welcome pitches on an array of topics pertaining to the world of short films. We carefully curate our limited number of monthly slots, whether for reviews, essays, or interviews and tailor each piece in close conversation with authors.

Please note that we can only consider pitches related to partner festivals. Before submitting a pitch via pitch@talkingshorts.com (cc-ing savina@talkingshorts.com & sanne@talkingshorts.com), we ask you to consult our Pitching Guidelines, Contributor’s Terms, and Style Guide. We do not accept PR requests or pitches from filmmakers about their own work.
