Leonardo Sette

Filmmaker, producer and editor Leonardo Sette (France) is based in Recife, Brazil. He attended film school in Cuba (EICTV) and France (La Fémis) and obtained a degree in Cinema History from the Sorbonne. His first short film ‘Ocidente’ (2008) received the Best Film award at the Rio de Janeiro International Short Film Festival. His film ‘Enraged Pigs’ (2012), co-directed with Isabel Penoni, won the Bill Douglas Award at GSFF13. He has collaborated with Video nas Aldeias, a pioneering project that supports and produces indigenous filmmaking in Brazil. He also founded production company Lucinda Filmes.
