Heitor Augusto

Heitor Augusto works as a curator and programmer, advisor, editing consultant, and writer since 2008. Based in Brazil, he has collaborated with organisations from Canada, France, Germany, the Netherlands, and the United States. In addition to his extensive experience at multiple film festivals varying in scale, reach, and mission, Augusto has also conceived and curated several special series and retrospectives around underrepresented film histories. His most recent work has been as guest curator for the public programme “Stream of Images and Imaginaries” at the 36th Bienal de São Paulo.
