European Workshop for Film Criticism #3
The third European Workshop for Film Criticism happened at Kortfilmfestival Leuven (28.11—03.12.23) and Vilnius Short Film Festival (17—21.01.24).
The workshop was tutored by Talking Shorts co-editor Savina Petkova, a Bulgarian film critic and programmer based in London whose bylines include MUBI Notebook and Little White Lies.
Guest lecturers and speakers included film programmer and writer Bo Alfaro Decreton (Kortfilm.be), journalist Laurence Boyce and film critic Laura Staab (Another Gaze, Sight and Sound)
Participants: Emel-Elizabeth Tuulik (EE), Monika Navickaitė (LT), Marina Zigneli (GR), Olivia Popp (USA-TW), Korée Wilrycx (BE) and Jan Tracz (PL).
